This is my favourite little escape in the market. Good food and crazy friends who run, own, and work in this little eatery. I first started going to Shai's when it opened. It was my own little space in a market that was always teeming with people. In the beginning nobody really knew about it... I should be so lucky now! I have spent a great deal of time on the back patio recharging from doing my gardens in the summer. Over the last few years, I have gotten to know Mike, Ricky, Shai and the various cast of characters! I knew when we ushered in the New Year together that things were about to get crazy...
